Customer and supplier relations

Fidly's Companies and People sections are where you manage all your business relationships.

Companies" view

This view lists all the companies with which you have a relationship, whether customers or suppliers.

  • Search and filters: At the top of the table, a search bar lets you quickly find a company by entering its name, company number, or part of its address.
  • "Add company" button: This button lets you create a new company record manually.
  • Download : The download icon lets you export your company list as a CSV file for easy use in spreadsheet software.
  • Company table: The main table displays key information about each company:
    • Company: Company name.
    • Company no.: The company's identification number.
    • Email: Contact email address.
    • City: The company's city.
    • Zip code: The zip code.

Company details

The detailed company file enables you to view and manage all information relating to a business partner (customer or supplier).

1. Navigation tabs

At the top of the page, you'll find tabs for navigating between the different sections of the company file:

  • Company File: This is the page you're currently on, displaying basic company information, linked contacts and general information.
  • Quotes: View the history of quotes created for this company.
  • Invoices: Access the list of invoices issued and received.
  • Subscriptions : Manage recurring subscriptions for this company.
  • Activities: View the history of activities and interactions related to this company (calls, e-mails, etc.).

2. Company information sheet

This section contains all administrative and contact information.

  • Company information :
    • Company name: The name of your business partner.
    • VAT number and ECB number: Company identification numbers.
    • E-mail, Telephone, Address, Website: Contact details.
  • Edit" button (pencil icon): Located at the top right of each section, this button allows you to modify the information in the corresponding section. By clicking on it, an editing window opens, allowing you to update the information.

    Search by ECB no.: In the edit window, if you enter your business partner's company number in the "ECB company no." field, the application will automatically search and complete the "Name", "Address" and other fields in the national database of the Banque-Carrefour des Entreprises (ECB). Note that this function is only available for Belgian companies.

  • Related contacts :
    • Name and title: Displays the name and title of individuals linked to this company.
    • Email: The e-mail address of the contact person.
    • Role: Indicates the contact's role (e.g. "Decision-maker").
    • Link Contact Button: This button allows you to link an existing contact or create a new one for this company.
  • General information :
    • This field can contain notes or specific information, such as special sales conditions (e.g. "Always offer a 3% discount").

People view

This view is dedicated to managing your contacts who are individuals.

  • Search and filters: As with the "Companies" view, you can use a search bar to find a person quickly.
  • "Add contact" button: Click this button to add a new record for a natural person.
  • Download : The download icon lets you export your contact list.
  • People table: The main table contains the following information:
    • Last name: The contact's last name.
    • First name: Contact's first name.
    • Email: The contact's email address.
    • Telephone: The telephone number.
    • City: The city of residence.
    • Zip code: The zip code.
  • Navigation between views: You can switch between the "Companies" and "People" views by clicking on the corresponding sub-menu in the left-hand side navigation bar, under "Relationships".

Person file

The detailed person card enables you to view and manage information on an individual contact.

  • Contact file: This is the page you're currently on, displaying the contact's basic information.
  • Quotes: Consult the history of quotes created for this person.
  • Invoices: Access the list of invoices issued and received.
  • Subscriptions : Manage recurring subscriptions for this contact.
  • Activities: View the history of activities and interactions linked to this person.

2. Contact information sheet

This section contains all contact and personal information.

  • Contact information :
    • Last name and First name: Your contact's full name.
    • E-mail, Telephone, Mobile: Contact details.
    • Call Form and Gender Identity: Information to personalize your communications.
    • Date of birth: The person's date of birth.
    • Language: Correspondence language.
    • Main address: The contact's address.
  • Edit" button (pencil icon): Located at the top right of each section, this button lets you edit information. Clicking it opens an editing window, allowing you to update fields such as name, contact details, etc.

  • This area may contain notes or specific information you wish to retain for this contact. General information can be added or modified by pressing the small pencil to the right of the title.
